Mr Talawadekar was very informative prior to my operation taking time to explain the procedure, the aftercare from Mr Talawadekar was excellent not really experienced this from NHS doctors before only private healthcare Doctors. He explained in great detail what he had done and what he expected the outcome to be. I am now fully recovered.

Mr Talawadekar treated my fractured scaphoid with intelligent care. He advised that I did not need a pinning operation which I was set for and, with my agreement, my forearm was put in a scaphoid cast for 6 weeks with the result that the fracture healed in this difficult bone (due to the particular nature of its blood supply). I am very pleased to have avoided an unnecessary procedure (in the circumstances of my case - this is not a general comment on treatment of scaphoid fractures). I found Mr Talawadekar and the other staff at St Peter's and Ashford Hospitals to be very kind, considerate, friendly and thoughtful and I am grateful for their excellent care.

Normally i don't give feedback as it is usually negative, but I was so impressed by Mr Gautam Talawadekar and his care, i feel it should be shared. He was exceptionally helpful and courteous and provided me with so much information about the procedure he had carried out on my elbow. On each of my visits he was on time, if not before, he has gone out of his way to examine me, unlike previous surgeons, provided me with that extra bit of care and attention, and took his time to explain exactly what was wrong with my elbow and what was involved with the procedure. On my post op visit he was thorough and happy to keep an open appointment in case of further treatment. How’s that for service under the NHS. Brilliant. Highly recommend.

I don’t normally give feedback but I was so impressed by Mr Gautam Talawadekar I feel it is the least I can do. He was exceptionally helpful and courteous and provided so much information about the procedure he had carried out on my shoulder. On each of my visits he has gone out of his way to provide that extra bit of care and attention. On my last visit he arranged an adhoc x-ray, reviewed the results and advised on the required treatment all within 20 minutes. How’s that for service under the NHS. Brilliant.
